Wednesday training with Málaga in mind

First team players joined this morning by Gumbau, Cámara, Babunski and Samper of FC Barcelona B

After taking the day off on Tuesday, the FC Barcelona first team was back at work on Wednesday morning in preparation for the first home league game of the season. Málaga will be visiting the Camp Nou on Saturday evening at 8.30pm CET.

Luis Enrique ran today’s session on Pitch 2 at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper, with the available members of the first team squad joined by Gumbau, Cámara, Babunski and Samper of Barça B.

The team has two more sessions scheduled before the weekend fixture, at 10.00am CET on Thursday (slightly earlier than usual because some of the team will be heading to Monaco for the Champions League draw) and on Friday at the usual time of 11.00am CET.

As well as the normal exercise routine and tactical discussions, the players also took part in a photo session this morning to meet a number of marketing commitments.
