The youngster won a penalty and scored on Friday

Barcelona-bound Francisco Trincao was on target for Braga on Friday night in an impressive performance from the 20-year-old despite his team going down 3-2.

The youngster won a penalty for the opening goal which was converted by Fransergio to give the visitors the lead after just 20 minutes.

Thiago Santana equalised for Santa Clara 10 minutes before half-time before Trincao put his team ahead just before the hour.

It was a pretty neat first-time finish from the forward too as you can see:

The goal also continues the impressive form Trincao had been showing before the competition was put on hold back in March.

Yet Braga’s lead didn’t last too long. They were reduced to 10 men eight minutes later when Raul Silva picked up a second yellow, allowing Santana to convert his second from the spot.

Trincao was replaced on 72 minutes by Galeno as the 10 men of Braga tried their best to hold on to a point in their first game back since the Primeira Liga restarted.

However, there was a dramatic finish as Carlos struck two minutes into stoppage time to hand the hosts all three points.
