The German club have confirmed their interest

Borussia Mönchengladbach want to bring in Pedri on loan for next season and have already been in touch with Barcelona to talk about the possibility of signing the youngster.

The 17-year-old will arrive in the summer from Las Palmas after a season where he’s played regularly for Pepe Mel’s side and caught the eye with some impressive displays.

Sky Germany are reporting Borussia Mönchengladbach are keen and also spoke to sporting director Max Eberl who said: ”We want to and will try to work out and implement creative solutions.”

The report also suggests that Bayern Munich are pretty keen on the teenager too.

Barcelona’s plans for Pedri aren’t clear but speculation has suggested the club will give him a chance in pre-season and will keep hold of him if he shines.

President Josep Maria Bartomeu also suggested the youngster will be staying in his recent interview with TV3 when he spoke about looking forward to Pedri and Trincao arriving this summer.
