Barca don’t want to pay more than €15m for Eric Garcia

Barcelona are reportedly in negotiations with Manchester City for Eric Garcia but don’t want to pay more than €15m for the center-back.

According to Mundo Deportivo, the Catalans have decided they will not go over that amount for a player who is in his last year at Man City and wants to return.

Pep Guardiola’s side have a different figure in mind. The Premier League club value Garcia at €25m and think that’s a fair price for the 19-year-old.

All of which means that Barcelona may have to wait for Garcia if City aren’t willing to reduce their asking price.

The report says Barca won’t rush into the signing because they know he’d be even cheaper in the January transfer window and a free agent next summer.
