But Miralem Pjanic misses out

Barcelona have received some good news ahead of Saturday’s trip to Sevilla with center-back Ronald Araujo passed fit for the game at the Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan Stadium.

Araujo has missed Barcelona’s last five matches in all competitions with a sprained ankle but does make Ronald Koeman’s squad for the big La Liga clash.

The center-back’s return from injury comes at a good time with Barcelona facing Sevilla again in midweek in the Copa del Rey and the return against Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League coming up on March 10.

Diario Sport are reporting on Friday that Araujo and Gerard Pique are likely to be Barca’s central defensive pairing for the rest of the season providing both players stay fit.

While Araujo is back in the squad for Saturday’s match, Barcelona will be without Miralem Pjanic for the game.

The midfielder trained alone on Friday and is not included in the squad. Sport report that the 30-year-old is out because of an ankle problem.
