The ups and downs of a potential big signing are nothing new to Barcelona fans. So the report from Sport that outlines Barca’s continued plans and efforts to sign Erling Haaland won’t surprise anyone.
There is apparently consistent contact between the two sides and Barcelona are preparing the finances to make the key push in June. Joan Laporta and Mino Raiola, Haaland’s agent, met a few weeks ago. The meeting was likely to outline Barca’s interest in Haaland and the role he would play.
Once Barcelona get the money situation settled out, which according to the report may be done in the coming days, then they can make a formal offer. There may actually be legs to the rumors this time around. What a signing it would be.
