The club is willing to offload upto 14 players

Barcelona president is reportedly planning a summer “revolution” at the Camp Nou which could see a host of players leave the club.

Mundo Deportivo reports the club is preparing a big “remodelling” of the squad in order to “fight for everything” next season.

The club is apparently willing to part ways with up to 14 players in order to reduce the wage bill and help the club’s financial problems. We’re talking sales, loans and even the possibility of some players simply being released.

Players such as Neto, Samuel Umtiti, Junior Firpo, Matheus Fernandes, Martin Braithwaite, Philippe Coutinho and Miralem Pjanic are all mentioned. The report adds that the club is also working with the idea they will have Lionel Messi for two more seasons.

There will be some new arrivals but it’s possible they could all be free transfers. Eric Garcia’s transfer is expected to be announced after the Champions League final, while Memphis Depay and Sergio Aguero could join the defender at the Camp Nou.

Liverpool midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum’s name is mentioned once again with the Netherlands international a favorite of Koeman’s and another player who is out of contract in the summer.
