The striker does/does not want to leave

The shockwaves from Barcelona’s announcement that Lionel Messi will not be continuing at the Camp Nou continue to be felt with the spotlight now turning on Sergio Aguero.

The Argentine has only just arrived on a free transfer and signed a two-year deal but the rumor mill thinks the departure of Messi could be a problem for the striker.

Aguero is said to be “very angry” at Barcelona and is already looking for a way out of the club despite the fact he’s not even made his debut yet, according to La Porteria.

The report adds the striker’s lawyers are “reviewing” the contract he signed with the club and the feeling currently is that Aguero’s “future at Barça does not look good.”

Apparently, Barca “promised” Aguero he would play alongside Messi if he joined the club and that is no longer going to be the case.

There are also whispers floating about that Inter could move for Aguero if Romelu Lukaku departs the San Siro and heads to Chelsea.

However, those rumors have been refuted by other outlets. Mundo Deportivo reckon they checked with sources close to Aguero who “flatly denied” he wanted out of Barcelona already.

Marca also report that Aguero will stay at Barca even though one of the main reasons he joined the club was to play with Messi.

The striker is in the squad for tomorrow’s Joan Gamper Trophy match with Juventus and will wear the No. 19 shirt.
