Puyol sends motivational message to Barcelona
The Barca legend is ready for a new era
Carles Puyol has sent an motivational message to Barcelona ahead of the team’s first game of the season on Sunday against Real Sociedad at the Camp Nou.
The Catalan giants will, of course, be without Lionel Messi for the game after his shock exit which means the match signals the start of a new era for the club.
Puyol is well aware of this, and knows Barca could be in for a tricky time, but has urged the players to be united as they kick off another new campaign.
Here’s what he has had to say:
“A new season begins and I would also say as well a new era. It will not be easy to see Barça without Messi (the best of all time to whom I wish the best and we can never thank him enough for everything he has given us) but now we all have to be together because only together we can achieve our goals. From the first to the last minute, the team united and working together and the fans supporting to death. Visca Barca ❤️ lot’s of luck mates !!!”
