It’s time for Barcelona B’s third match of the season! Barça B go in search of their first win of the campaign in the Third Division as they face another Catalan derby, this time against UE Costa Brava, formerly known as Llagostera, at the Johan Cruyff Stadium.
It has been a slow start for Barça B under new manager Sergi Barjuan, with a team that’s shown glimpses of really good football but has been unable to convert the chances they’ve created in the first two games.
There is very little consistency with team selection so far, so Barjuan needs to be given time to find a regular lineup that he can trust and build chemistry with. But Barça also need to win so they don’t get too far behind the top of the table in a competitive division, and Costa Brava always seem to give them a tough time.
Alejandro Balde, Nico González and Gavi all start for a strong-looking Barça B side. This should be a good one, and you’re welcome to join us to follow and comment all the action. Vamos!
