One of the main objectives of the season has been accomplished; Barça are through to the last 16 of the Champions League thanks to their 2-1 win over Porto at the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys. The blaugranes will take their place in the draw for the knock out stages which will take place on Monday 18 December.

Xavi hails 'winning mentality' - FC Barcelona
Xavi Hernández can finally look forward to managing his team in the knockout stage of a Champions League after missing out in the last two seasons.
