Barcelona submit first bid for Hull winger Philogene
Could this deal really happen?
Barcelona have reportedly firmed up their interest in Hull City winger Jaden Philogene by submitting an offer for the Hull City winger.
The club’s interest in the 22-year-old was first reported last week, and came as a surprise, but it seems Barca really are keen on the youngster.
Sky Sport reporter Florian Plettenberg says Barca have made an offer to take Philogene on loan with an obligation to buy next year for around €20-23m.

Philogene is one of several attackers being linked with Barcelona right now, along with Dani Olmo, Luis Diaz and Nico Williams. He’s the last well-known of all but also the most affordable which is likely key given the club’s financial constraints.
Philogene has impressed in the Championship with Hull, after moving last season from Aston Villa, but there’s no doubt a move to Barcelona would represent a huge step up for the youngster.
