‘Spectacular’ - Messi gives his vedict on Flick’s Barca

Lionel Messi has been chatting about Barcelona and has made it clear he’s a big fan of Hansi Flick’s exciting young team.
The German has led his team to the top of the table in Spain with the likes of Pau Cubarsi, Marc Casado and Lamine Yamal playing regularly.
Messi’s not surprised to see the club’s La Masia graduates playing a starring role for the club and seems to be loving watching his former team this season.
”I think it’s spectacular and it doesn’t surprise me because it’s not something new, it’s been happening all my life, or at least since I arrived at Barcelona when I was 13,” he told TV3.
“I think it’s spectacular that the boys have had the opportunity for a couple of years now. When they are given the opportunity and the trust, they respond in this way because they know the club better than anyone else and because they are used to playing this way since they were little and when they are supported, these things happen, as they did in other times as well.”
Barcelona are hoping to have Messi back in the city soon. The GOAT is expected to be part of the club’s 125th anniversary celebrations next weeks.
