WATCH: Barca celebrate impressive Balde milestone

One hundred not out!

Barcelona have been celebrated Alejandro Balde’s 100th appearance for the club in training on Thursday.

Balde actually notched the landmark last time out against Leganes but it wasn’t a great time to celebrate due to the poor result at Montjuic.

However, the club did make a fuss of the left-back at the Ciutat Esportiva on Thursday. Captain Marc-Andre ter Stegen was on hand to present Balde with a special jersey.

The squad also posed for a photograph to commemorate the milestone.

After a couple of days off earlier in the week, Barcelona are currently preparing for a huge game against Atletico Madrid in La Liga.

Hansi Flick’s side have stumbled recently in domestic competition, while Atletico are absolutely flying and can move three points clear with a win.

However, Barcelona really need a result and have an excellent record against Diego Simeone’s side. In fact the Atletico boss has never beaten Barca away from home.
