Title race takes another twist as Real Madrid drop points ahead of Barca vs Rayo

Osasuna snatched a draw
The title race in Spain took another dramatic twist on Saturday as leaders Real Madrid were held to a 1-1 draw by Osasuna at El Sadar.
Los Blancos had taken the lead through Kylian Mbappe after 15 minutes but were then reduced to 10 men before half-time when Jude Bellingham was sent off for dissent.
Osasuna then grabbed an equaliser from the penalty spot just before the hour mark as Ante Budimir grabbed a precious point for the hosts.

It’s a great result for Osasuna and also for Barcelona and Atletico. The draw means Madrid are top on 51 points but could finish the weekend down in third place if their two title rivals pick up wins.
Atletico are next up and are due to kick off shortly when they take on Celta Vigo at the Wanda Metropolitano. Madrid’s result will no doubt have given Diego Simeone’s side a big boost ahead of kick-off.
Barcelona are then next up on Monday night when they take on Rayo at home. A win will see the Catalans go level on points with Madrid but above them in the table on goal difference.
