Not a good look

Raphinha’s frustrations boiled over on Saturday night after Barcelona were held to a 1-1 draw by Real Betis in La Liga.

The Brazilian started the game on the bench, with Hansi Flick saying he was still feeling the effects of the international break, but did come on in the second half.

However, Raphinha couldn’t help Barcelona conjure up an equaliser as the Catalans had to settle for a point.

The Brazilian was clearly furious at the end of the game, though.

He was spotted hurling insults at the assistant referee and reportedly said: “You don’t tell me to shut up, you don’t tell me to shut up!. You’re rude.”

Manager Flick tried to calm him down but without much success.

Injured captain Marc-Andre ter Stegen, who had watched the game from the sidelines, was also spotted trying to talk to Raphinha but was rewarded only with a push from the Brazilian forward.

The goalkeeper seemed to end up pushing Raphinha down the tunnel, possibility an attempt to save him from himself as tensions boiled over.

It’s been a tricky couple of weeks for Raphinha. He’s emerged as a genuine contender for the Ballon d’Or contender due to his brilliant form but had a tough time with Brazil during the international break and has cut a frustrated figure since his return.
