Hansi Flick has called up 22 players for Saturday’s clash

The next Barcelona match is upon us! The Blaugrana play a huge La Liga home game against Real Betis, and Hansi Flick has called up the following 22 players for Saturday’s clash:

Goalkeepers: 13. Iñaki Peña, 25. Wojciech Szczesny, 31. Diego Kochen

Defenders: 2. Pau Cubarsí, 3. Alejandro Balde, 4. Ronald Araujo, 15. Andreas Christensen, 23. Jules Kounde, 24. Eric García, 32. Héctor Fort, 35. Gerard Martín

Midfielders: 6. Gavi, 8. Pedri, 14. Pablo Torre, 16. Fermín López, 21. Frenkie de Jong

Forwards: 7. Ferran Torres, 9. Robert Lewandowski, 10. Ansu Fati, 11. Raphinha, 18. Pau Víctor, 19. Lamine Yamal

There are good and bad news for this one: the good news is that Andreas Christensen is finally cleared to return after missing over a month with a calf injury, hoping to now be injury-free until the end of the season after missing almost the entire campaign with an Achilles issue. The bad news is that Iñigo Martínez is out for undisclosed reasons, but one can only assume the Basque defender is being rested due to the muscle soreness with which he finished the match against Atlético Madrid in midweek. Also out for this one due to injury are Marc Casadó (knee), Dani Olmo (groin) and Marc Bernal (knee), while Marc-André ter Stegen (knee) is back in training but still not medically cleared.

Predicted starting XI (4-2-3-1):

Szczesny; Kounde, Araujo, Cubarsí, Balde; De Jong, Pedri; Yamal, Fermín, Raphinha; Lewandowski

The match kicks off at 9pm CET (Barcelona), 8pm BST/WAT (UK & Nigeria), 3pm ET, 12pm PT (USA), 12.30am IST (India, Sunday), and you can join us to follow and comment all the action.

VISCA EL BARÇA!
