Toni Fernandez dazzles as Barca Atletic secure crucial win

Barcelona teenager Toni Fernandez put in another eye-catching performance as Barca Atletic beat Real Union 3-1 on Sunday in a crucial win as they bid to avoid relegation.
An early sending off did help Barca Atletic’s cause, with Fernandez going on to bag the opener after a great one-two with Cedric.

The 16-year-old went on to grab Barcelona’s second early in the second half. Jan Virgili did well down the right flank to tee up Fernandez who made no mistake with the finish.

Fernandez was taken off just after the hour but was able to sit and watch cousin Guille Fernandez make it 3-0. The youngster pounced on a rebound to secure the win for Barcelona Atletic.
The cousins have now scored in the same match for the second time this season and are both posting some decent numbers this year.

Real Union did pull one back from the penalty spot deep into stoppage time but it’s a huge win for Sergi Mila’s side. Barca Atletic are still five points from safety with five games to go, but with the Fernandez boys around there’s still hope.
