Barcelona star Raphinha has been ruled out of action for five weeks with a hamstring injury picked up on international duty with Brazil in what’s a huge blow to club and player.

Ronald Araujo has admitted it’s “very sad” to lose the Brazilian star at a crucial stage in the season and former striker Pau Victor thinks Raphinha will be furious at being sidelined.

“Raphinha’s is one of the most painful losses Barça can have. I haven’t spoken to him, I preferred not to send him any message. Knowing him, he must be devastated and really p*ssed off,” he told Jijantes.

However, Victor is confident that the club can cope without their forward, adding: “Barça have the resources to replace him.”

Victor left the club in the summer for Braga but admits he still watches every game.

“I don’t miss a Barça game, I’m a Barça player and I’m not going to miss them. Here they tell me that I am sick because I see them all,”

“Surely the season didn’t start as people expected, Iñigo’s loss did a lot of damage. Now I see the team very well. You can ask for little more, they are competing well and I know they are good in the dressing room.”
