Highlights from August’s meeting between FC Barcelona and the Italian club ahead of Wednesday’s Champions League clash

Last August, in traditional fashion, FC Barcelona were presented in front of their own supporters during the annual Joan Gamper Trophy. It was a special occasion, not only because it was the fans’ chance to welcome back the treble-winning team, but also as it was the 50th edition of the summer tournament.

The guests that day were AS Roma, with former Barça man Seydou Keita among their ranks, and the two teams are set to square off again in the Champions League group stage opener this Wednesday.
