Rabiot Turns PSG Down Again, Barcelona Offer More Money
But will that be enough to convince him?
Paris United reports that Adrien Rabiot has turned down a contract extension with Paris Saint-Germain once again, fueling speculation that the midfielder could be on his way out.
The report says that PSG offered to raise his salary to 7.2 million euro plus bonuses. The bonuses are said to be based on collective performance and quite hefty, to try to match the salary to his wishes. But Barcelona, his most often-discussed suitor, offer 10 million, according to the source.
Negotiations are said to be continuing but one thing that could complicate it for PSG is that his relationship with the team’s sporting director, Antero Henrique, is “tense.”
PSG’s offer is said to be for two more years, which apparently is just as the player wants.
If PSG are unable to renew his contract, they will either have to sell him quite soon or risk letting him go for free when his contract expires next year.
