Denis Suarez gives okay to join Arsenal - report

The midfielder looks set to leave in January

Barcelona’s Denis Suarez has reportedly given his okay to joining Arsenal on loan this year. Sport reported that while Barcelona are apparently still unsure of the transfer, Suarez has been convinced by Arsenal boss Unai Emery that the move is right for 25-year-old.

The deal to Arsenal would apparently be a loan deal with the option to sign for €25m. Suarez being okay with the move is apparently what needed to happen in order for further negotiations between the two clubs to move forward in negotiations.

Should Suarez leave in the January transfer window it will likely only be for Arsenal. Given his contract at Barcelona ends in 2020 a deal to either extend him or loan him out needs to take place soon.
