Semedo released from hospital after suffering head injury
The defender was injured against Eibar
Barcelona confirmed on Monday that Nelson Semedo has been released from hospital after suffering a head injury in Sunday’s draw at Eibar.
The full-back spent the night under observation but has been discharged after successfully passing tests.

Barcelona have offered an update on his condition but have not said when they expect him to return to action.
“Nélson Semedo has undergone the necessary tests required for the head injury he received against Eibar on Sunday, and has been discharged from hospital.
“The player returns to Barcelona to continue with the established protocol regarding this kind of injury and an evaluation will be made of when he can return to training.”

Under current protocols players can not return to competitive action for a minimum of six days after having suffered a head injury.
