Valverde: Dembele & Coutinho could miss Copa del Rey final
Barcelona’s injury problems are mounting up
Barcelona boss Ernesto Valverde says that Ousmane Dembele and Philippe Coutinho could both miss Saturday’s Copa del Rey final against Valencia.
The two players are currently sidelined with injury and Valverde offered an update after Sunday’s final La Liga game of the season against Eibar.
“We’ve got a few issues in certain positions and we’re going to see if we can get a few players back,” he admitted.
“Ter Stegen will certainly be available. Coutinho, I don’t know and Dembele is looking unlikely.
“Let’s see about Arthur. He’s had a problem for two to three months and he needed a break. It could have happened a month or so ago but it’s happened now. I don’t know if he’ll be available.”

The injuries leave Barcelona short in attack, as Luis Suarez will also not feature as his season was ended prematurely after knee surgery.
Malcom started against Eibar on Sunday but hardly impressed, meaning Valverde has a bit of a selection headache as he tries to secure the double.
