Atleti CEO says Griezmann is going to Barcelona

And the club have known since March

Atletico Madrid CEO Gil Marin appears to have cleared up any uncertainty over Antoine Griezmann’s future by saying he is going to Barcelona.

Marin says he has known since March that Griezmann will be playing his football at the Camp Nou next season.

“I know exactly where he’s going to play. I’ve known since March. In Barcelona,” he said.

”There are players who feel they are greater than the squad, we have to form a group of men.”

Griezmann has been rather less clear on the topic. He has said he knows where he’s playing, talked about the sacrifices he needs to make to get there and then most recently reckoned he wasn’t sure if he would stay in La Liga.
