De Ligt agent in France to close move to PSG - report

Mino Raiola is in France to close the transfer of his client, Matthijs de Ligt, to Paris Saint-Germain, according to a report. The Ajax defender has been linked with a move to Barcelona but it seems that option is drifting further and further away.

Lassana Camara, a Mauritanian journalist working in France, retweeted a picture of him with Raiola alongside text that read: “Mino Raiola is in Paris to finalize the transfer of the young defender from Ajax, De Ligt, to PSG.”

Radio Monte Carlo, on the other hand, was less definitive. They reported a meeting between Raiola and PSG’s sports director Antero Henrique this morning in Paris. But De Ligt is yet to make his choice, according to the report. They say Ajax demand 75 million euros for his transfer.

This suggests there is still time for Barcelona to convince De Ligt to join them, but that window of opportunity may be closing.
