‘I’m working on it’ - Ter Stegen still hoping to return before end of season

The stopper is inching closer to a comeback
Barcelona goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen has given a brief update on his recovery from injury and is still hoping to play again before the end of the season.
The stopper has been out of action since undergoing surgery on a knee injury back in September but is hoping to play again in the coming months.
Ter Stegen has been spotted working with the ball on the training ground and isn’t ruling out a comeback before Barca’s season is over.
“Will I return this season? We will see. I am working on it,” he said at an event on Tuesday.
The goalkeeper is also looking forward to Barcelona’s Champions League clash with Benfica and is expecting another fun game.
“We are going step by step. We are in a good moment now and we will see a great match,” he added.
Barca ran out 5-4 winners when the two teams met in the group stages in what was an eventful game at the Estadio da Luz in Portugal.
