The Brazilian’s future remains unclear

Paris Saint-Germain manager Thomas Tuchel spoke about Neymar’s future in his pre-match press conference on Saturday.

The French champions take on Rennes on Sunday but will once again be without the Brazilian as he has been left out of the travelling squad.

Speculation continues to rage that he will join Barcelona before the end of the transfer window, and Tuchel offered his view on the current situation.

“He is my player & when I think of a strong team, it includes him. If there is no solution for him, he will stay with us,” he said.

“He is sensitive, so I will always protect him. He needs to train with us & raise his intensity. I want to see him play at his best level for 90 minutes, with aggression & lots of dribbling

“For now, nothing has changed. Neymar has 3 years left on his contract.”
