The youngster will move to Camp Nou in the summer

Braga president Antonio Salvador has been talking up Francisco Trincao ahead of his summer move to Barcelona.

The 20-year-old is due to arrive at the Camp Nou on 1 July after Barca agreed to pay €31 million for the youngster in January.

Here’s what Salvador makes of the young forward in an online chat with fans:

“We already know we are going to lose one of our great players, one that I consider the best, one that will define a decade from now, which is Trincao. As you know, he has been sold to Barcelona. I believe that almost the entire squad will be maintained next season.”

Trincao has been talking about his forthcoming move to Barca during lockdown in a live chat with the club’s Youtube channel.

He said he can’t wait to play for his new club and “wants to learn from Leo Messi, he is one of my heroes.”
