Barca eye Tagliafico move

Today’s rumors start with news from Mundo Deportivo that Barcelona are pretty keen on Ajax defender Nicolás Tagliafico.

The club have already been in touch with his agent as the full-back is expected to depart the Eredivisie side this summer.

Tagliafico could replace Junior Firpo, who has been linked with a move away, and provide Jordi Alba with some serious competition for the left-back spot.

The 27-year-old is said to be keen to play with Frenkie de Jong again and link up with compatriot Lionel Messi.

Man Utd & Newcastle keen on Vidal

Over at Marca the word is that Premier League clubs Manchester United and Newcastle United have joined the race for midfielder Arturo Vidal.

The Chilean is still pretty keen on leaving in the summer and would like to head to Inter Milan to work with Antonio Conte once again.

Yet it appears he may have several offers from which to choose from when the transfer window reopens.

Griezmann will stay and fight for his place at Barca

Sticking with Marca and they also report that Antoine Griezmann will stay and fight for his place at Barcelona even if Lautaro Martinez and Neymar arrive in the summer.

The Frenchman thinks he will be able to build on his debut season at the Camp Nou and meet the big expectations that accompanied his signing from Atletico Madrid.

Griezmann is keen to claim silverware with Barca and has already been told the club do not want to include him in any swap deals this summer.

Ajax set price for goalkeeper Onana

Sport bring news that Ajax are letting it be known that they will not let goalkeeper Andre Onana depart for anything less than €40 million.

The goalkeeper has spoken recently about a possible return to Barcelona and could head back to the Camp Nou to replace Neto.

Chelsea are also said to be pretty keen as Kepa Arrizabalaga has had a difficult season and was dropped for a spell by manager Frank Lampard.

Real Betis keen on Riqui Puig

Riqui Puig’s future is front page news at Estadio Deportivo. The paper reports that Real Betis fancy taking the young midfielder on loan next season.

This is not the first time Betis have taken an interest, but they think Barca may be willing to send him out to a team which can guarantee him minutes and continue his development.

Barca must pay €40m for Felipe Luiz

And finally today we end with news that Barcelona will also have to pay €40 million if they want to bring in defender Felipe Luis from Lazio.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Lazio are keen to keep hold of the defender and are only willing to sell for big money.

Barca have tracked him for a while and intend to bring in another defender as Gerard Pique is now 33, while Samuel Umtiti’s knee remains a worry.
