“Arthur, Arthur, Arthur” - Juve only want one man for Pjanić
Barcelona’s other offers won’t sway “The Old Lady”
Juventus are only keen on one player if they are to let their midfielder, Miralem Pjanić, go: Arthur. That’s according to a new report from Italy.
Other names have been mentioned such as Ivan Rakitić, Jean-Clair Todibo, and Ousmane Dembélé, but Juve will not pull the trigger unless Arthur is involved.
The Brazilian is exactly who is needed, or so Juventus think. He has the right qualities on the pitch. His salary is relatively low. He is young. And, even though it is said he does not want to leave Barcelona, the Italians seem to think it’s only a matter of time before he changes his mind.
It is understood that the Catalans are pressuring him to accept the offer, and Juve are keen to remind him that he is not a sure starter this season at the Camp Nou.
Juve could also send Mattia De Sciglio along to sweeten the deal.
