Barcelona set to undergo coronavirus tests

La Liga has approved Barcelona’s training facilities as well

La Liga has approved FC Barcelona’s training and medical facilities, meaning doctors will be able to administer coronavirus tests starting next Wednesday.

Players and coaches will be tested, and if all goes well, return to training soon. First, it will be done on an individual level, eventually moving up to small group training before finally resuming normal training. Eventually, matches will return.

Barcelona’s first team players will be able to train in this fashion, and so will B team or youth team players called up.

The club will have to follow a series of guidelines implemented by Spain’s health department in order to maximize safety for players and coaches.
