A look at the latest headlines

Monday’s headlines are all about Barcelona’s hunt for Lautaro Martinez and Miralem Pjanic, but bring some contrasting views on the transfers.

Over at Mundo Deportivo the duo are on the front page with the headline ‘Pjanic/Lautaro on Track.’ The report reckons both players have told Barca they want to move which has fuelled optimism the club can get both deals done.

Inter are said to be already looking for a replacement for Lautaro, while Juve and Barca are trying to work out a deal that may or may not include Arthur.

The Brazilian has made it clear he does not want to move, and Barca are hopeful they could be able to use another player in the deal. Junior Firpo, Samuel Umtiti. Emerson, Carles Alena and Rafinha are all mentioned.

Yet Sport have a slightly different report on the possible arrival of Pjanic. They reckon fans are pretty divided about the arrival of yet another midfielder at the Camp Nou given Barca are already well-stocked in that department.

Sport are also reporting that Barca could also include Jean-Clair Todibo in the Pjanic deal.

Juve wanted the Frenchman last year before he signed for Barca and apparently are still big admirers of the 20-year-old who does have other offers on the table.

Todibo is said to be worth around €25m which means Barca may also have to include another player as well if it’s to be a straight swap for Pjanic.
