Rumor round-up: Alba, Dembele, Semedo & Todibo latest
A look at the latest hot gossip
Juventus ask about Jordi Alba
Today’s rumors start in Italy with a report from Calciomercato who reckon that Juventus have been asking Barcelona if there’s any chance they could have Jordi Alba.
The two clubs have already been talking about Miralem Pjanic and Arthur, so apparently Juve took the opportunity to check on Alba’s availability.
Juve are after a left-sided defender as they may need a replacement for Alex Sandro who has reportedly received a few offers to leave.
Barca willing to sell Dembele for €42m
Staying in Italy and Tuttomercatoweb report that Barca are willing to sell Ousmane Dembele for just €42m this summer.
The report reckons there’s not been too much interest in Dembele, although Paris Saint-Germain could be tempted at that price.
There’s also a suggestion that Barca might be willing to allow Dembele to go out on loan and would even be willing to pay part of his huge salary as part of the deal.
Semedo getting closer to Man City
Back in Spain and Mundo Deportivo report that Nelson Semedo is inching closer to a move to Manchester City with Joao Cancelo potentially going the other way.
The right-back favours a move to Pep Guardiola’s side over a transfer to Juventus even though the club may be banned from the Champions League for the next two seasons.
MD reckon five big clubs are after the Portugal international who is looking increasingly like leaving the Camp Nou in the coming months.
Everton want Todibo response
And finally we end with news from Sport who reckon that Everton are keen to hear back from Barcelona about their offer for Jean-Clair Todibo.
The Toffees have offered €22m plus €3m in variables for the centre-back which Barca apparently think is pretty decent.
However, the club are still waiting to see if any more interest arises. There’s a suggestion Juve and Inter might fancy Todibo too and could offer more.
