Depay and Barcelona have reportedly agreed on personal terms

The Dutchman is closing in a on a move

Barcelona target Memphis Depay has reportedly agreed to personal terms with the club. The link between the Dutch attacker and Barca has been nonstop since Ronald Koeman’s move from the Dutch national yeam to Barcelona became official.

The Lautaro Martinez consolation prize is certainly benefiting from his national team manager taking over at Barcelona. It remains to be seen if Depay is the type of player who can actually make an impact at Barcelona. Frankly, it seems like a stretch for current form Depay to expect to be anything but a bench player when arriving at Barca.

The final talks between Barca and Lyon are still ongoing. Leaving things temporarily in the air. This deal seems like its going to happen. Now we just have to see if it’s an impact move or simply a Koeman pat on the back move.
