The striker could leave in January

Martin Braithwaite has made it clear this week that he’s not too interested in speculation about his future but that has not stopped the rumor mill from continuing to churn out gossip about his future.

According to Sport, the Denmark international is wanted by three Premier League clubs, and Barca would be willing to listen to offers given he is not featuring regularly under Ronald Koeman.

West Ham United, Leeds United and West Bromwich Albion are the three clubs mentioned, and Barca are said to be hoping for a transfer fee in the region of €15 million for the 29-year-old who cost €18m less than a year ago.

The problem seems to be that Braithwaite doesn’t really want to go even though he’s not playing regularly, while Barca need to sell players before they can afford to bring in any other new signings.

One factor that could affect Braithwaite’s thinking is Denmark’s involvement in Euro 2020 which will be played next summer. The striker could lose his place in the team if he’s not playing regularly at club level.
