The captain’s still not happy

Lionel Messi’s frustrations with Barcelona don’t appear to be going away with the captain making his feelings about the club pretty clear once again.

The skipper arrived back in Barcelona on Wednesday after being on international duty with Argentina and was met by reporters who were quick to fire off a few questions.

According to Mundo Deportivo, Messi was asked about comments made by Antoine Griezmann’s former adviser and replied: “I’m tired of always being the problem of everything at the club.”

In case you missed it Messi is referring to comments made by Eric Olhats over the international break to France Football.

Griezmann’s former adviser said Messi’s attitude towards the Frenchman “has been deplorable” and that the Argentine is “at the same time emperor and monarch” at the club.

The Frenchman’s uncle has also been in the headlines for comments about Messi, claiming the captain doesn’t train hard enough and “sessions are structured in order to please certain people.”

Yet it’s also worth noting that Messi was being pestered following a 15 hour flight from Argentina and after being held up at the airport. The suggestion is he’s not annoyed with Griezmann just frustrated at being blamed for the club’s problems.

Both Griezmann and Messi are due back in Barcelona training on Thursday after their international commitments.
