Suarez holds out hope of playing against Barca

It’s safe to say all of us were looking forward to Luis Suarez playing against Barcelona this weekend. A club legend that left this summer, Suarez moved to rival Atletico Madrid and has been playing well.
The reunion of Suarez playing against Barca this weekend was thrown into the dumpster after Suarez tested positive for COVID-19 while with the Uruguayan national team this week. The hope from pretty much everyone is that the test was a false positive. The positive test was taken on Monday and he was without symptoms.
If the second test on Wednesday comes back negative then there’s a real chance he plays this weekend. If it comes back positive, he’ll be out for this weekend’s game and next week’s UCL match.
Here’s to hoping Suarez stays healthy, regardless of his status for this weekend’s match.
