The club will listen to offers for the youngster

Barcelona are reportedly willing to sell Konrad de la Fuente this summer and will listen to any offers that arrive for the 19-year-old.

The teenager is said to have attracted interest from “several clubs in Spain and Germany” and could be sold to raise funds, according to ESPN.

Barca “would prefer a sale” to a loan but would also like to include a buyback option in any potential deal. Konrad’s out of contract in 2022 but Barca have an option to extend for another two years.

The USMNT starlet has been on the fringes of the first team this season but hasn’t quite made the breakthrough. The presence of players such as Ousmane Dembele, Ansu Fati, and Francisco Trincao means that situation is likely to continue.

The report states that Barca think that both Konrad and Barca B captain Alex Collado “need to play at a higher level than the Spanish third division next season.”

Barca’s difficult financial situation also seems to be a factor with the club feeling that Konrad is a player who can “command a reasonable fee” in the summer transfer window.
