The top target is Erling Haaland, although an operation is complicated due to the competition involved. Barça have sounded out various options to cover themselves and one of them is Harry Kane, 27, a player that could leave Tottenham this summer and is seriously evaluating trying his luck away from the Premier League.

The battle to sign Erling Haaland has officially begun this week after the first face-to-face conversations over his future took place in Spain. Haaland's agent, Mino Raiola, and his father, the former footballer Alf-Inge, met with Barcelona and Real Madrid to sound out a possible transfer. There is also interest in England but Barça came out of Thursday's meeting with the perception that Haaland wants to play in La Liga over the Premier League.

Barcelona have no doubts and will move for Memphis Depay this summer - SPORT
There's unanimity among the Barcelona hierarchy when it comes to signing Lyon forward Memphis Depay on a free transfer this summer. The decision has been made and the club will support coach Ronald Koeman's desire to sign the Dutchman, who is out of contract in June. Barça's move for Depay will not be dependent on their interest in Erling Haaland following this week's meeting with the Borussia Dortmund striker's agent and father.

Barcelona skipper Lionel Messi has reportedly given club president Joan Laporta a list of demands before he begins contract negotiations. Messi’s current deal at the Camp Nou expires at the end of the 2020/21 campaign with widespread speculation over his next move this summer.

The 22-year-old shot into the headlines in Spain this week by scoring in successive victories over Georgia and Kosovo to establish himself in the international setup. The Spaniard had joined Dinamo Zagreb as part of the swap deal which saw Alen Halilovic move to Barcelona in 2015 and swiftly established himself as a star in Croatia before his move to Germany.
