Barcelona offer update on Ansu Fati injury
The youngster’s been out since November
Barcelona confirmed on Thursday that Ansu Fati is heading to Portugal for further treatment on the knee injury that’s kept the youngster out since November.
It’s been widely reported this week that the teenager will require further surgery to fix his ongoing issues and is likely to be out for another couple of months.

Barcelona have offered the following update on the club’s official website.
“The first team player Ansu Fati has traveled to Porto today to undergo a clinical examination of his left knee by Dr. Jose Carlos Noronha, under the supervision of staff from the club’s Medical Services department.”
Fati’s ongoing knee issues mean he’ll also miss the Olympics this summer as well as the rearranged European Championship with Spain.
Yet it’s hoped that the latest intervention can finally fix Fati’s injury and allow him to be ready in time to start pre-season with the rest of the squad.
Let’s send Ansu Fati some good wishes and hope he’s back to his best soon.
