Vitor Roque’s agent offers update on Barca loanee’s future
The Brazilian has been linked with a move
Vitor Roque’s agent, Andre Cury, has offered a brief update on the Brazilian’s future amid speculation he’s wanted by Palmeiras.
The forward is currently on loan at Real Betis, but it’s been reported that Palmeiras are hoping to sign him before the window closes in Brazil at the end of the month.
Cury has been asked about the situation by Mundo Deportivo and insisted “it is not true that Vitor Roque has asked to leave Betis.”
When pressed further he also claimed: “We have not received any official proposal for this window.”
A move in mid-season appears unlikely but there has been speculation that Palmeiras could try again in the summer.
Barcelona would surely be happy to sell Vitor Roque if a decent offer comes in, while it’s not clear if he will stay at Real Betis past the end of the current campaign.
Vitor Roque has managed just five goals in all competitions for Betis since his move in the summer.
