Everton in for André Gomes as Their Barcelona Swoop Continues

Everton could become Barcelona’s best business partner this season as rumors suggest they could buy both André Gomes and Yerry Mina in addition to Lucas Digne, who they have already captured.

Dominic King writes that Gomes is keen on the Premier League, though it’s not yet known if it’s a loan or a sale.

Diario SPORT had reported that the club best positioned to land the Portuguese was West Ham, but things could have changed since. The player is currently injured but he’s due to return soon. Valencia, his old club, are said to also be in for him.

As for Mina, Manchester United and Lyon are also interested in the defender, but several sources agree that the Everton are favorites to land the Colombian.

Were Everton to acquire Digne, Mina, and Gomes, it would represent a rare triple-swoop for them and a decent bit of business for Barcelona, who has been open to offloading the trio all summer.
