Raiola’s comments fuel speculation over Pogba’s future
Barcelona have been linked with the midfielder
Paul Pogba has been linked with a move to Barcelona for the majority of the summer, and you can expect those rumors to intensify thanks to his agent Mino Raiola.
Raiola has taken to Twitter to launch an attack on former Manchester United midfielder Paul Scholes who was critical of Pogba’s performance in the Red Devils’ defeat to Brighton at the weekend.
Pogba captained the team again, in the absence of skipper Antonio Valencia, but put in a poor showing. He said after the match his attitude wasn’t good enough.
Some people need to talk for fear of being forgotten. Paul Scholes wouldn’t recognize a leader if he was in front of Sir Winston Churchill. @paulpogba

Paul Scholes should become sports director and advise Woodward to sell Pogba. Would be sleepless nights to find Pogba a new club @paulpogba

It’s the second tweet that’s the most interesting with Raiola implying he’d have no problem at all in finding Pogba a new club.
It’s been reported this summer that Raiola has been trying to push Pogba towards Barcelona.
The midfielder seems to have an uncomfortable relationship with manager Jose Mourinho and he’s unlikely to be too impressed with Raiola’s words.
A move for Pogba still seems highly unlikely this summer. However, Manchester United appear to be in a bit of a mess at the start of the season, and the transfer window in Spain remains open until August 31.
