Pique is the best defender of all time, says Robert Fernandez

Quite a claim from the former Barcelona man

Robert Fernandez has been talking about Gerard Pique and reckons the centre-back is the best defender the world has ever seen.

Pique’s been in sensational form recently and put in a couple of brilliant displays in Barca’s two wins over Real Madrid last week at the Santiago Bernabeu.

And his performances have led Fernandez to shower him with praise.

“Piqué is the best centre back in the world. Now just now, but of all time,” he said, according to Sport.
