Rival Watch: Lyon put five past Toulouse

The French side head to the Camp Nou in just over a week

Barcelona’s Champions League opponents Lyon look to be in pretty good form after thrashing Toulouse 5-1 in Ligue 1 on Sunday.

Bruno Genesio’s men will head to the Camp Nou for the second leg of their last 16 clash on March 13 with the tie all square at 0-0 after the first leg.

They did not lack for goals on Sunday with Memphis Depay firing them ahead after just 10 minutes, although Mathieu Dossevi pulled one back five minutes later.

Bertrand Traore added a second for Lyon on the half hour mark, before Nabil Fekir, who was suspended for the first leg against Barcelona, made it three from the penalty spot.

Moussa Dembele wrapped up the win in the second half with two goals in four minutes to complete a comfortable victory.

Lyon were beaten 2-0 by Monaco in the first Ligue 1 match after their first leg against Barca but have since bounced back with a Coupe de France win over Caen and now Sunday’s victory.
