Barca not interested in selling Dembele or Semedo
The champions want the duo to stay at the Camp Nou
The summer transfer window has seen plenty of rumors concerning Ousmane Dembele and Nelson, but the latest update reckons Barcelona have ruled out selling either player.
According to Mundo Deportivo, Semedo will be the club’s first choice right-back next season and will have Moussa Wague as his back-up. Sergi Roberto will head back into midfield.
The Portugal international had attracted interest from Atletico Madrid, but their purchase of Kieran Trippier from Tottenham means they are likely to have given up hope of landing the Barca star.
As for Dembele, well the report reckons that the positives outweight the negatives when it comes to the talented young Frenchman.
While he has struggled with injury and had a few issues with turning up to training on time, his skill, pace and quality mean he is worth another chance.
The arrival of friend and fellow France international Antoine Griezmann is also expected to help out Dembele next season, and the club have no intention of selling him or including him as part of a deal to bring in Neymar.
