Dani Olmo edging closer to Barcelona move - report
The young winger could be returning next season
Barcelona feel they have the signing of Dani Olmo “under control,” according to Mundo Deportivo. Olmo played in the Barcelona academy for 7 years before joining Dinamo Zagreb, where he has broken into the first team and now is the main star.
He has advanced through Spain’s youth ranks and recently made his debut for the senior team, scoring a goal in the process. Dinamo themselves reportedly know they cannot hold onto him much longer, having already rejected offers of 30 million euros last summer, thinking they could earn even more next year.
Barcelona reportedly have a good relationship with the 21-year-old player’s father, Miquel Olmo, and his agent Juanma López. Barça’s scout that keeps tabs on Olmo is none other than Bojan Krkić, Sr., the father of Bojan Krkić, a former Barcelona player and La Masia prodigy.
