Dembele forced off injured against Dortmund

The Frenchman picked up a problem against his former club

Ousmane Dembele has suffered yet another injury blow after being forced off in the first half of Barcelona’s clash with Borussia Dortmund.

The Frenchman got the nod to start in attack against his former side ahead of Antoine Griezmann and lined up alongside Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez.

However, he lasted only 26 minutes after picking up a problem that saw him throw his boots off in frustration and look to be close to tears as he went off.

It’s not clear yet what the injury is or how long he will be out for, but we’ll let you know as soon as Barcelona offer an update on the 22-year-old.
