Germany boss Joachim Low has confirmed that Marc-Andre ter Stegen will play their final Euro 2020 qualifier against Northern Ireland on Tuesday.

Die Mannschaft take on Belarus on Saturday and will use current No.1 Manuel Neuer but will turn to Ter Stegen for their final Group C fixture.

Germany head into Saturday’s fixture second in the group behind Netherlands but level on points with the Dutch side and three points above Northern Ireland.

A win over Belarus could be enough to secure qualification to next summer’s finals on Saturday if Northern Ireland upset Netherlands in the other group game.

There has been some debate over who should be Germany’s No. 1 this season. Ter Stegen has spoken out about his disappointment at being continually on the bench which didn’t seem to go down too well with Neuer and Bayern Munich.
